Some of our activities… -We learn new things about the world and different cultures on our “virtual trips” with DVDs, videos and
slide shows. Our tours always come with lunch featuring foods from the places we visit. Artifacts, souvenirs, and personal
experiences enhance the journey. -Music with visiting musicians or our own talented seniors that sing or play an instrument. -Art presentations have included musical instruments,
hand-made treasures from wood, story-telling quilts, and items from other cultures. -Programs on health, cooking and information for
seniors from a variety of community speakers. Because we are a “community” group, we have explored other faiths,
learning about the things we have in common. -We take field trips to museums, musical shows or programs for seniors. -We invite our pre-school children to join us
for a story, snack, art and fun. -Every year our seniors have donated to the CCSA Adopt-a Family program. -We have cultural lunches for St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo and Oktoberfest.
-Two special events each year are the Annual English Tea in May and
our Annual Christmas luncheon in December. - Game Day, the first Friday of each month, continues to be popular.
Uno is a very noisy, but obviously

THE GRAY BRIGADE
The Gray Brigade welcomed the New Year with a rousing Game Day, followed by a wonderful exercise
about Forgiveness led by Janet Shaw (Thanks so much, Janet!). Another Game Day and Janet's session were ably run by our
stalwart volunteers while Debby was visiting her son in Italy. On January 27 we had a visit from our favorite group, Script-in-Hand
Players, who had us laughing for an hour.
